The inaugural Mission to Seafarers Wellington 2.5km/5km Fun Run Event took place on Saturday, 18 April 2026, at the Hnry Stadium Concourse
The event was a huge success, and a lot of fun. The wet weather meant that we held the event in the mezzanine car park instead of on top of the stadium walkway - but we still had a view of the ships in port at CentrePort Wellington.
We really appreciate all our participants who “stepped up for seafarers” and helped us raise essential funds for seafarer welfare service provision around NZ and the Pacific region. Everyone who attended the event had a great time, and many said they would like to take part again next year.
